      Part Three

      With respect to the letters for Senators Reid and Ensign, there were actually many times the number that the pouches could handle so the "Pony Express rider" symbolically handed the pouches containing only about a quarter of the letters over to NV Pony Express President Larry McPherson.

      Amazingly, no one was to be found in Senator Reid's office on "delivery day." There was only a simple sign on the door that read, "If you need assistance please call the Reno office." (The letters were all delivered later by Sheila Schwadel.)
