Protest and Press Conference, Carson City, 6/29/05
Northern Nevada wild horse advocates held a demonstration and press conference on the grounds of the State Capitol on Wednesday, June 29, 2005. The Capitol Grounds Director was quite cordial in allowing advocates to bring horses, the rules consisting of common sense safety issues, keeping the horses off the lawns and bringing supplies to "clean up" should it become necessary.
The press was invited and TV and print media were represented.
The air was constantly alive with the sounds of motorists along Carson Street honking in support.
